Enhancement of Research Skills Program (ERS)
The program targets, among others, talented fresh graduate students willing to pursue higher studies from disadvantaged geographic regions or social groups, with a special focus on gender. These are selected among graduates of the faculties of humanities and social sciences. After long discussions, The Steering Committee members approved that the selected candidates should have good academic record and a minimum basic language and computer skills. Pathways developed 19 courses; these courses were selected to cover the research skills such as mental skills, personal skills, team work and social skills, managerial skills, and communication skills. CAPSCU training program depends on the above courses delivered by a number of selected professors in the university. Each trainee received full material before training started.
ERS training started in July 26th, 2003. The program targets university graduates of the faculties of humanities and social sciences who are willing to pursue higher studies. The selected candidates must have higher degree and a suitable English language and computer skills. ERS program components aiming to enhance the following:
